Except in rare circumstances, embalming is not required by law. However, most funeral homes do not permit public viewing without embalming. If you opt to not use embalming, usually we can offer a private viewing prior to cremation with minimal preparation excluding embalming. Choosing cremation only indicates how you’d like to care for your loved one after the service and doesn’t exclude you from celebrating and honoring their life in any way. Glenn Robert Sontag, age 93, of Harshaw, WI, passed to his Heavenly Home on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Glenn was born on September 21, 1929, in Milwaukee, WI, the youngest son of Harry and Leona Sontag. He married “His Honey” Betty Brewer in 1949 and they shared over 55 years of adventure and love before she preceded him in death in 2004.
